Learning Project: Designing a Tiny System
For this learning project I created a small interactive system in Twine built around a simple cake-cutting scenario. It works as a metaphor for fairness, responsibility, and the pressures we feel when our choices affect others. The system branches based on how the player chooses to divide the cake, and each path exposes different ethical frameworks. The Twine structure itself is part of the message: the way options can fork or snowball mirrors how real-life “small” decisions can ripple into surprisingly complex emotional or ethical outcomes. I aim to navigate fairness and social norms, and how even mundane actions can carry meaning.
